Incheon, South Korea – Hyundai Capital maintained their impressive winning streak, defeating their rivals Korean Air in a thrilling match on Lunar New Year's Day. The victory solidified their position at the top of the V-League.
The match, held at the Incheon Gyeyang Gymnasium, saw Hyundai Capital triumph with a 3-1 set score (20-25, 25-23, 25-23, 25-22). With this win, Hyundai Capital extended their winning streak to an astonishing 15 consecutive matches, edging closer to the league's single-season record of 18 wins set by themselves in the 2015-2016 season.
Furthermore, Hyundai Capital also set a new V-League record for the most consecutive away victories. Their impressive 15-match winning streak on the road surpassed their previous record of 14 wins achieved in 2016.
The victory widened the gap between Hyundai Capital and second-placed Korean Air to 17 points, solidifying their dominance at the top of the standings.

Leo, Hyundai Capital's star player, led the team with 23 points, while Heo Su-bong contributed 16 points.
